THE SOUL
If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not He who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work? - Proverbs 24:12
“Hearken oh Asclepious, When the soul is separated from the body, she passes under the supreme power of deity, to be judged according to her merits. If found pious and just she is allowed to dwell in the divine abodes, but if she appears defiled with vice she is precipitated from height to depth and delivered over to the tempests and adverse hurricanes of the air, the fire and the water.” - Treatise on Initiations: Hermes
2:20: “The True God neither rewards nor punishes, for He has established the Law, whereby each man decrees his own fate. The future destiny and circumstances of the soul are shaped in the earthy body. When, in the hour of it's release, the soul take flight, freed from its earthly container of flesh, it assumes the form moulded by its desires. In that awesome day of reckoning, the wicked shall be revealed in their hideous shapelessness, but the upright shall step forward in splendor.”
2:21: “Therefore, give due respect to the Law of God; walk in His ways, and bow to His decrees. You are placed on Earth that His purpose may be fulfilled. Therefore fight not against His will, nor rebel against His laws, lest you bring about your own destruction. God will not destroy the transgressor of His Law, for he will destroy himself. Each man ultimately decrees his own fate and receives his reward or punishment, according to the Law.” - The Kolbrin Bible (Egyptian Texts of the Bronze Book - Chapter 2: Nature of the True God)
THE TEMPLE IS WITHIN
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple. - Corinthians 3:16-17
Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! - 1 Corinthians 6:15
2:37: “The true temples of the Great God are not structures made of stone and brick. They are places of quietitude in your heart and home, where you listen to the awakening of your Soul as it responds to the conscious contact with Him. His worship is your labour among the people. His praise is the song in your heart. His adoration is your joy of living.”
2:48: “Worship bestows no benefit on God, for He is all self-sufficient. Its purpose is the service of man, not the service of God. It fulfills a need of man, not a need of God. Nothing that man can do will add to God's glory. Nothing that man can give will add to that, which He already has.” - The Kolbrin Manuscripts (Chapter 2: Egyptian Texts of the Bronze Book: Nature of the True God)
3. Jesus said, "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the (Father's) kingdom is within you and it is outside you.
When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will understand that you are children of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty." - Gospel of Thomas
SEEK KNOWLEDGE
An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. - Proverbs 18:15
The mocker seeks wisdom and finds none, but knowledge comes easily to the discerning. - Proverbs 14:6
“How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge? - Proverbs 1:22
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. - James 1:5
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” - Matthew 7:7-8
62. Jesus said, "I disclose my mysteries to those [who are worthy] of [my] mysteries. - The Gospel of Thomas
92. Jesus said, "Seek and you will find.
In the past, however, I did not tell you the things about which you asked me then. Now I am willing to tell them, but you are not seeking them." - Gospel of Thomas
MPR: 20:25: “Wisdom cannot enter a heart whose gates are barred with prejudice, nor penetrate a body filled with evil. The powers of the spirit enter into a man as guests; they will not come unbidden or remain unwelcome”. - The Kolbrin Manuscripts (Chapter 20: The Nature of a Man's Soul: Wisdom - Book of Morals and Precepts)
"He who would enter into the realm of Wisdom must first divest himself of all intellectual pride. Prejudices, pre-conceived opinions and beliefs always stand in the way of true wisdom. Conceited opinions are always suicidal in their influences. They bar the door to the entrance of Truth." - Ralph Waldo Trine (1866 – 1958)
All numbers are multiples of one, all sciences converge to a common point, all wisdom comes out of one center, and the number of wisdom is one. - Paracelsus
“Philosophy's primary purpose is to prevent the individual from deceiving himself by his own opinions. It helps the person to know what he does know, what he can know, what he does not know, and what he cannot know. If he will work this out with modesty and reasonableness, he will come to a fair estimate of his own mind.” ~ Manly P. Hall (The Mystic Maze of Thought 1970, p.3)
