Recently we've had two significant celestial events, the brightening of a red star and a blue star, the red star being Betelgeuse in the constellation of Orion and a supernova blue star in the constellation of the Greater Bear, Ursa Major. Something else which is really odd is that there is not regular updating of the rate of brightening which used to be available daily on Twitter.

The Hopi mythology talks about the brightening of a red star and a blue star and that they relate these to the Kachinas and in Hopi mythology the Kachinas are the gods.

FROM THE RED KACHINA/BLUE KACHINA PROPHECY: “The return of the Blue Star Katchina who is also known as Nan ga sohu will be the alarm

clock that tells us of the new day and new way of life, a new world that is coming. This is where the changes will begin.

Not far behind the twins will come the Purifier, who will bring the Day of Purification.

On this day the Earth, her creatures and all life as we know it will change forever."

When the Purifier comes we will see him first as a small Red Star which will come very close and sit in our heavens watching us. Watching us to see how well we have remembered the sacred teachings.

We will receive many warnings allowing us to change our ways from below the Earth as well as above. Then one morning in a moment. We will awaken to the Red Dawn. The sky will be the color of blood, many things will then begin to happen that right now we are nor sure of their exact nature. For much of reality will not be as it is now.” - The Hopi Red Kachina/Blue Kachina Prophecy

In Hopi symbolism, Betelgeuse is connected to the Badger and that the Badger is connected to the Kachina Honan or Bahana Honan which is connected to the return of the white god.

The Hopi say the Bahana is a white brother or white savior who came up with the people from the underworld and was said to possess great wisdom and he promised to return one day bringing many benefits for the people. It is said that when he returns there will be no more fighting, corruption or trouble and he will bring much knowledge and wisdom with him.

In the Mayan mythology Quetzalcoatl was a white skinned bearded man with supernatural abilities and knowledge, after instructing the people in the useful arts he departed eastward over the sea promising to return one day.

Then we have the Lokata mythology regarding the Badger and the Bear, in the story the Badger uses a red clot of blood from a Buffalo to conjour a hero warrior with a magic arrow. In Lakota symbolism the belt stars of the constellation of Orion is called the spine of the Buffalo.

Another tribe with a Badger Clan are the Pueblo tribes of New Mexico.

They say that badgers are considered one of the six directional guardians and are associated with the south and the color red, in the evening skies of North America the constellation Orion appears arcing across the south.

Then there is the Prophecy of Johann Friede a Austrian monk from the order of St John who lived around the 1200s. He also speaks of Orion and the constellation of the Greater Bear:

“When the nights will be filled with more intensive cold and the day with heat, a new life will begin in nature.

The heat means radiation from the earth, the cold the waning light of the sun.

Only a few more years and you will become aware that sunlight has become perceptibly weaker.

When even your artificial light will cease to give service, the great event of the firmament will be near. The nebula of the Greater Bear will arrive in the vicinity of earth... and will fill the space of five hundred suns at the horizon. It will more and more cover up the light of the sun until the days will be like nights at full moon.The illumination will not come from the moon, but from Orion, which constellation, by the light of Jupiter, will send forth its rays on the Greater Bear and will dissolve its nebula with the force of light.”

Australian Aboriginal Mythology about Orion and Betelguese:

In this legend, a man called Nyeeruna (Orion) is a skilled hunter who is attracted by the Yugarilya sisters (the Pleiades) and pursues them across the sky. Kambugudha, the eldest of the sisters stands between them, she taunts Nyeeruna (Orion) and he lifts his club (Betelgeuse) and it fills with “fire magic,” and readies to throw it at her but Kambugudha lifts her left foot (Aldebaran), which also fills with fire magic and kicks dust into Nyeeruna’s face.

In another Aboriginal myth they call Betelguese Waiyungari and they believe when the brightness of Waiyngari increases, it signals the beginning of the Aboriginal initiation rites, when young men must refrain from being around women. (control their carnal desires).

MORE CONNECTIONS

Betelgeuse is the second brightest star found in the constellation Orion, located at the eastern shoulder of the hunter.

The word Betelgeuse is said to be derived from the Arabic term bat al-jawzāʾ, which means “the giant's shoulder.”

This is interesting because in the Greek Mythology of Hesiod Orion is a giant who is guided to the Golden Palace of Oceanus by his servant called Kedalion.

The story goes there was a blind giant called Orion who goes to the divine forge of God where Hephaestus took pity on him and gave him his servant Kedalion to guide him to the home of Helios which was a golden palace on the Oceanus river. Oceanus was the first Titan son of Gaia and Uranus.

Now what's even more interesting is that Kedalion means "purifer"...so Kedalion the purifer sits on the shoulder of Orion where he guides him back to the golden palace of Oceanus which is connected to the tide of aether returning heaven to Gaia.

Uranus symbolizes heaven, Neptune symbolises the tide of aether and pluto symbolises the lower levels of the aethereal plane.

So I started looking through more fragments of Hesiods work because all we have are fragments, surprise surprise and this also caught my attention about little known Sarpedon who was a demigod:

"For wise Zeus ordained that he (Sarpedon) should live for three generations of mortal men and not waste away with old age. He sent him to Troy; and Sarpedon gathered a great host, men chosen out of Lycia to be allies to the Trojans. These men did Sarpedon lead, skilled in bitter war. And Zeus, whose wisdom is everlasting, sent him forth from heaven a star, showing tokens for the return of his dear son . . . for well he (Sarpedon) knew in his heart that the sign was indeed from Zeus. Very greatly did he excel in war together with man-slaying Hector and brake down the wall bringing woes upon the Danaan."

Now it gets a bit murky here because there are lots of different accounts of the Trojan war, some accounts don't mention the wooden horse or who won the war and this account in the Hesiod of the Trojan war doesn't mention the wooden horse or who won the war. So it could be that there are two Trojan wars, one where the mortals win representing the fall of the divine man as we move into the lower ages and one where the gods win at the end of the Great Year when they take back their kingdom and we'll see that there is also another very well known story about a star that heralds war.

Something else I found interesting is that Hesiod says a star brightens in the sky which is a sign from Zeus that the return of his son is imminent to bring down the wall that is bringing woes upon the Dananns. The Dananns are connected to King Akrisios who is ruler of Argos, the Dananns are also led by Queen Danae who is a goddess impregnated by Zeus via a virgin birth...(where have we heard that before)

Now interestingly if we look at the The Tuatha de Danann of Ireland's mythology they are led by a Queen called Danu but also known by the name of Dana and the Dananns in the Irish mythology are all divine. So Hesiod says a brightening star will herald the the return of Zeus's divine son who will free his people from their miseries by helping to break down the material wall that enslaves them. (ie: the return of the Aether breaks down the material world)

Okay now let's look at all the cross culture mythologies connecting Orion to God.

Chinese mythology, they call the three belt stars of Orion Shen, Shen means spirit of God or deity. Shen is the spirit of the Fire Element.

In Japan Shen means "god"

In Hebrew Shen means tooth, on the Kabbalah Tree of Life the path of the tooth is Path 31 the Path of Shin, Shin symbolises the fire (will) of God.

In Ancient Egypt Osiris is the Creator and connected to Orion.

In medieval Muslim astronomy, Orion was known as al-jabbar "the giant".

According to Islam, al-Jabbār is one the names given to Allah, meaning

The Compeller:

Al-Jabbār is the One Who comforts broken hearts, enriches the poor, facilitates what is difficult, and provides those submissive to His majesty and magnificence with special consolation.

Al-Jabbār is also the Vanquisher of all things, to Whom everything is submissive and obedient.

Al-Jabbār is the Most High and Exalted above His creation. He has established Himself above His Throne.

All might belongs to Him alone and He is the Vanquisher of tyrants with His power. Indeed, He is far exalted above them with His greatness.

In old Hungarian tradition, "Orion" is known as (magic) Archer (Íjász) or Reaper (Kaszás).

In other myths, he is called Nimrod (Hungarian Nimród), the greatest hunter, father of the twins Hunor and Magor. Hungarian tradition relates the twins to the constellation Gemini. Interestingly there is a verse in the Bible relating Nimrod to the Hunter. He was a mighty hunter before Jehovah. Therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before Jehovah.” - Genesis 10:9 ...so the hunter was before Jehovah, Jehovah is another name for the Christ, while Yahweh is God the Father.

So we have various cross culture confirmations connecting Orion to God.

So we saw in the writings of Hesiod Zeus sends sends a star as a sign for the arrival of his son, so what other stories can we find about stars being signs for the arrival of a god....oh that would be the story in the Bible about the star of Bethlehem.

So let's look at the actual verse:

“Then Herod privily called the Wise-men, and learned of them exactly what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search out exactly concerning the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word, that I also may come and worship him. And they, having heard the king, went their way; and lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. And when they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. - Matthew 2:7-10 (Remember Orion is in the east)

So the popular belief being pushed in the “astrotheology and new age movement” is that Sirius is the star of Bethlehem heralding the birth of Christ which is the Sun, yes a very simplistic view of esoteric symbolism usually popular with the simple minded who do no further research of their own. However while there is cross culture evidence regarding the belt stars of Orion relating to the three wise men there is nothing connecting Sirius to God the Father. Seems to me they are deflecting to Sirius because they don't want us looking at Betelgeuse. Another factor which makes it doubtful that Sirius is the star of Bethlehem is that the verse in the Bible relates that the appearance of the star is something which is unusual therefore alerting them to the birth of the Christ child, the appearance of Sirius every year isn't unusual unless it changed in appearance and it's Betelgeuse changing not Sirius....also King Herod consults the Magi for the exact time of the star's appearance, if it was Sirius why would he need to be told this when it appears the same time every year?

The meaning of Bethlehen means house of bread and there are various verses in the Bible that show bread symbolising the Christ or God's Holy Spirit, so therefor Bethlehem is the house of Christ, and the brightening star in the House of Bread heralds the birth of the Christ, and as we've just confirmed with other cross culture symbolism Orion is connected to God the Father.

Here are some verses where the bread is symbolizing the Christ (divine portion).

John 6:32: Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven.

John 6:35: Jesus answered, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never hunger, and whoever believes in Me will never thirst.

John 6:51This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that anyone may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven.

If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And this bread, which I will give for the life of the world, is My flesh.”

The word Bethlehem is also connected to the house of war and after the Christ appears King Herod goes to war on the people killing every male child born around the same time looking for the Christ to destroy him. I find this interesting because the Bethlehem is house of bread and house of war. This brings to mind the verse where Jesus says, he is returning with a sword to bring war not peace. This is also relayed in the writings of Hesiod where the appareance of the star not only heralds the return of his son but also of the coming war in which the divine son will free his people.

Let's look at some other Bible verses relating to stars. We have one from Numbers 24:17

“I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the people of Sheth.

Jacob is the father of Joseph who is the husband of Mary who births the Christ child.

And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. - Matthew 1:16

Jacob also has a dream where God tells him "Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land" he wakes from his sleep and says: “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”...This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.” and then he marks out the spot and calls it Bethel. House of God.

In the book Star-Names and Their Meanings by Richard Hinckley Allen published in 1899 it states English folk names for Orion's Belt include: Jacob's Rod or Jacob's Staff.

French philosopher Simone Weil (1909 - 1943) herself a Christian, remarked, “The Christians named the three stars of Orion the Magi,”

Christian astronomer Elijah Hinsdale Burritt (1795 – 1838) remarks:

They (the belt stars of Orion) are sometimes denominated the Three Kings, because they point out the Hyades and Pleiades on one side,and Sirius, or the Dog-star, on the other. In Job they are called the Bands of Orion” (Band is another word for belt)

In Puerto Rico and Mexico, the three stars are known as Los Tres Reyes Magos (The three Wise Men).

Similarely, in South Africa, the Belt Stars are called Drie Konings (the three kings).

Though some parts of South America, Portugal and the Phillipines call them the three Marias.

The Romanians have a constellation incorporating Orion's Belt called Trisfetitele which they call (the Three Saints) representing the Three Hierarchs Basil, Gregory and John they also have a constellation called Sfredelul Mare or the Great Auger with Orion's belt representing the handle and Betegeuse representing the tip of the Auger which faces Pollux in Gemini, it is said the auger points to the treasure when they approach the end of the world. The four main old Romanian constellations perceived in the modern figure of Orion are Tresfetiţele (The Three Kings), Secera (The Sickle), Rariţa (The Little Plough) and Sfredelul Mare (The Great Auger).

In other Hungarian traditions, Orion's belt is known as "Judge's stick" (Bírópálca).

In ancient Macedonia, Betelgeuse was known as Orach, the plowman. There is also a plant in Macedonia called red orach, it belongs to the Amaranth genus of plants, it is a deep red or purple and in ancient mythology it's never fading flower is a symbol of immortality. In Ancient Greece, the flower used to decorate images of the gods and tombs.

THE FOUNTAIN

The move the Fountain is literally talking about Betelgeuse exploding but they've occulted it using the Mayan mythology of Xibalba

and inferred it was the Orion Nebula. They show the Orion constellation all throughout the movie but it's

missing Betelgeuse. The lead characters Tom and Izzi Creo are symbolising the divine male and female reincarnating throughout the Great Year

until Betelgeuse explodes and renews the Tree of Life. I found this on the wiki article about Xibalba....

Xibalba is described in the Popol Vuh as a court below the surface of the Earth associated with death and

with twelve gods or powerful rulers known as the Lords of Xibalba. Everybody was talking about this movie in 2012 but we were

all focusing on the Orion Nebula which was them poisoning the well and leading us off track.

The divine male in the movie is called Tom Creo and the etymology for Creo and means beget, give birth to, create, cause, grow to become bigger.

The movie focuses on the Mayan symbolism of the man with the tree bursting from him, if you look at the Tree of Jesse this shows the same

symbolism because it relates to the first born divine son being the seed of all life.

The movie was also released on the 22/11/2006 ....22 + 11 = 33 ....the entire date reduces to 14 = 5 and 5 equates to fate and destiny.

They depicted the Orion Nebula with yellow but it's not, it purple, Betelgeuse is often shown as red or yellow in artwork.
